blue, always reminds me of the clear vast expanse of the sky. and the ocean on a bright sunny morning. both these, i find, are very caling, simply because of their vastness.
but its strange, u know shankari, when u look up the word 'blue' in a dictionary of how many connotations it has as an adjective. among other things, it also describes someone/thing that is morally rigorous and strict, did u know that?!?
It was a short official trip at a time when I was terribly overwrought and just the one and a half days there helped in giving me some perspective, some solitude and calm.

I *love* royal blue ink! I think ink should be blue and roses should be red. wotsay? But then there are times when I like purple ink, red ink, black ink n so on ... ;) Thanks for coming by here. :)
